The Honeoye Falls Fire Department captured two awards at the Rush Fire Department parade on Friday night, July 14. The department’s old Buffalo truck won Best Antique at the parade. The HFFD brought home the third-place award for Best Appearing Department.
The Honeoye Falls Fire Department is very proud of its 1929 Buffalo. Department members remind those they serve that their fund drive is under way. The drive provides uniforms for the members and also provides the chief with a vehicle, maintains the department grounds, allows the department to award a scholarship annually and of course keep its Buffalo beautiful among other programs. Thanks to those who have sent donations and department members hope those who have not yet done so will consider supporting the department.
