On Tuesday, December 6th, Main Street Café and Lattimore Physical Therapy of Honeoye Falls-Lima teamed up to host their first annual Holiday Tree Lighting & Toy Drive. An approximately 20-foot pine tree sourced from Cheese Factory Road was put-up on the patio outside the two businesses in the Village of Honeoye Falls.
Attendees were encouraged to bring an unwrapped toy to be donated to the local Toys for Tots drive, The Kade Project. For those who brought a toy, they had the pleasure of decorating a cut-out holiday cookie. There were also snacks, chili, and refreshments offered. The Honeoye Falls-Lima High School Jazz Band performed a setlist of seasonal music inside Lattimore Physical Therapy during the event.
The event was a success and both businesses hope the tree lighting and toy drive become an annual staple of the holiday season in the Village.
