The Honeoye Falls-Mendon and Lima Rotary Clubs are co-hosting the 32nd Annual Rotary Community Golf Tournament on Saturday, June 8 at Lima Golf and Country Club, 7470 Chase Road in Lima.
Rotary members thank the community for its dedicated support and loyalty to Rotary. If you can’t make it for the tournament, community businesses and residents can sponsor an event (a sign on the course), donate any raffle prizes or gift certificates or make monetary donations.
The Honeoye Falls – Mendon Rotary Foundation is a 501(c) 3 tax-exempt foundation. Rotary’s support relies entirely upon donations, and fundraisers like this event. Participation on all of the efforts will contribute to another successful year.
Rotary Clubs work with Community organizations and businesses to encourage and foster the idea of service. They support HF-L schools with Scholarships, HF-L Interact (Rotary Youth), and providing Literacy tools for HF-L Manor School and the Lima Christian School. They are committed to the BSA of America locally with Troop #10 and Troop #410. Currently they are revitalizing the Mendon Community Playground.
The clubs also work internationally through the Rotary Foundation to help and aid in; Peace & conflict prevention/resolution, Disease prevention & treatment, Water & sanitation, Maternal & child health, Basic education & literacy, Economic & community development.
