On the heels of the windstorm on March 8 came the snowstorm of March 13-15. The snow started in the overnight hours of Monday night/Tuesday morning and continued nonstop until Wednesday (March 15) afternoon.
Snowfall in The Sentinel coverage area ranged from about 11 inches in Avon to about 15 inches in Lima to 25.5 inches in Pittsford. All area schools were closed March 14 and 15 as did town and village government offices and libraries along with some businesses.
