Now this is what we mean by community! Last Friday night more than thirty family members, friends, and classmates gathered at Flaherty’s in Honoeye Falls to discover whether it was going to be a boy or a girl. It’s called a “Gender Reveal” party and expectant parents and Lima residents Jessica and Ricky Mura, together with their son Jackson (all standing in the back against the wall) found out, along with everyone else, it’s going to be a baby girl! Along with the proud grandparents, Jess’s mom and dad Lisa and Willam Ryan and Ricky’s mom Terry Mura were Jess’s sisters, and many of Jess & Ricky’s 2005 RH classmates. (Did we say Jess & Ricky were King and Queen of their high school prom?) Said Lisa Ryan, “We are truly blessed to have all of our daughters, Ricky’s family, and their friends and family… what an amazing family and friends we have”And that, Charlie Brown, is what Community is all about.
