Josh Schmieder and the Josh Landscape team were awarded the New York State Small Business of the Year award last Thursday. This award was presented by Virginia Reynolds, Deputy District Director of the U.S. Small Business Administration, Buffalo, New York; U.S. Congressman Joe Morelle; Monroe County Executive Adam Bello and Monroe County Legislator – LD 5 and Honeoye Falls Mayor Richard Milne. Josh Landscape Co. has called the Village of Honeoye Falls its home for 12 years. The company has grown from 10 employees to approximately 179 today. While this award was presented at the home office in Honeoye Falls, Mr. Schmieder also traveled to the U.S. Capital and met with other award winners from around the country and attended a special event within the Rose Garden at the White House as well.
