Congratulations to Grady Kinton for receiving the Do the Right Thing award from the Livingston County Sheriff’s Department last month.
The Do the Right Thing Award Program recognizes children for their positive behavior, accomplishments, and good deeds by rewarding students who strive to make good choices, do well in school, give back to their communities, or demonstrate a “turn-around” or improved behavior. He was nominated by his teacher Natalie Hatz.
Kinton, a first-grader at Lima Primary School, was presented with his award by Livingstin County Sheriff Tom Dougherty.
The Do the Right Thing Award program is a nationwide/international program, initially started by the Miami Police Department in 1990.
