The kindergarten and first-grade students at Lima Primary were able to combine the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) skills they have learned over the year with some fun events during the school’s Maker Faire/Adventure Day on June 2.

Maker Faire 2023 activities featured butter making, trail mix necklaces, mindfulness, glitter jars, making play doh, Beebots and Ozobots, temporary tattoos, animal hospital, Legos, Toy Penny Spinner, an Art project making a butterfly, a photobooth, taking apart machines, alpaca soap and musical games.

Adventure Day stations were hula hoops, jump ropes, ankle rings, sidewalk chalk art, parachute, cross the river, relay race, spray bottle tag and a fun run. The Fun Run had a goal of raising $4,000 for the HFL PTA funds.
