The Rochester Dahlia Society, now in its 84th year, held their annual Regional Flower Show and Competition at Bristol’s Garden Center on September 16, 2023. Mendon resident, Ken Piazza has been a member for many years and is also an ADS (American Dahlia Society) certified flower judge. For the first time in all his many years of competing, a flower he grew and entered found its way onto the High Court of Honor and was judged by a panel of senior judges as the “King of the Show,” which is given to the best quality flower of the giant (dinner plate size) dahlias!
