Sidewalk would connect Olde Falls Village Apartment Complex to the HF-L Middle School
Mendon Town Supervisor John Moffitt today announced that the Town has applied for a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) to help fund a new sidewalk on Quaker Meeting House Road that will connect Olde Falls Village Apartment Complex to the Honeoye Falls-Lima Middle School.
“This stretch of Quaker Meeting House Road has a narrow shoulder and is often used by pedestrians including children who are walking to and from school,” said Moffitt. “This proposed sidewalk will not only increase walkability but will also create a much safer route to and from the Middle School.”
In order to be eligible to receive CDBG funding, an income survey must be completed by the residents of the Olde Falls Village Apartment Complex. Letters from Monroe County were sent out Monday, May 8th and must be returned by Monday, May 29th
