The MOMS Club of Honeoye Falls-Lima will be holding its third annual Winter on the Green fundraiser on Saturday, January 27th from 7 p.m.-12 a.m. at the Mendon Golf Club, 226 Mendon-Ionia Road. It promises to be a wonderful evening filled with fun, food, drinks, dancing, and The Band Last Night will be performing. There will also be 50/50 raffles and a silent auction, as well as many, many beautiful baskets being raffled.
The MOMS Club would personally like to invite the entire community, and the proceeds will benefit the generous work the MOMs Club continues to do in supporting our local neighbors.
Since its inception in 2008, the MOMs Club has supported various local families, as well as law enforcement families, and organizations with local ties. Some of the many families the MOMs Club has provided financial support to include a child with a rare genetic disease, a single mother with cancer, and families who have been affected by fire, loss of a parent, and other tragedies. We have also provided donations to fallen law enforcement officers’ families, military veterans needing transportation, provided school supplies to children within the HF-L district that could not afford their own, as well as Christmas presents to local families that might otherwise not have had a Christmas.
The HF-L MOMs Club is comprised of 70 members with a combination of working as well as stay-at-home mothers. We have joined together to support each other and inspire each other to be good citizens in our community and provide support when the need arises.
