The Second Annual Lima Crossroads Blues Festival will be Friday, Saturday and Sunday (August 5-7, 2016) in Lima.
It will be held rain or shine under the big tent. There is no cover charge.
Music on the Big Stage on Friday will be Poison Whiskey from 8-10 p.m. On Saturday, music acts are Table Top Three from 1:30 p.m.-3 p.m., Fred, Red & Weems from 3:30 p.m.-5 p.m., Joe Beard with Steve Grills & The Roadmasters from 5:30-7:30 p.m. and James Armstrong from 8-10 p.m. On Sunday, the acts are Steve Grills & The Roadmasters from 1 p.m.-3 p.m. and Johnny Rawls takes the stage to close the fest out from 3:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m.
There are a number of events on Saturday, August 6 such as breakfast all day, the always popular bed races at 1 p.m., a car cruise from 8 a.m.-noon, food vendors all day, crafts from 9 a.m.-4 p.m., family trivia from 10 a.m.-noon, LimaSonic Karaoke from 10 a.m.-3 p.m., a Rock Wall from 11 a.m.- 4 p.m., Euro Bungee from 11 a.m.-4 p.m., Bounce House from 11 a.m.- 4 p.m., Old Time Jail from 11 a.m.-4 p.m., kids activities from 11 a.m.-4 p.m., a Poker Run from 2 p.m.-6 p.m. and euchre from 2 p.m.-4 p.m. In addition, there will be music on the lawn of the First Presbyterian Church in Lima by THE BTW Trio at 10:30 a.m. and Nightengael at 11:45 a.m.
This is the sixth year that Lima Crossroads Council will be supporting Camp Good Days and Special Times as part of its festival mission. A percentage of the festival proceeds will be given to the camp. Camp Good Days has served more than 230 individuals in the Lima area.
The Festival is put on thanks to many businesses and other sponsors in the community, along with volunteers and organizations such as Lima Ambulance, Lima Fire Department, Lima Rotary, the New York State Police Department, the Livingston County Sheriffs Department and the town and village of Lima.
