The Lima Historical Society will present “The Seneca Iroquois in Lima” by Martha Sempowski Ph.D. for its September meeting on Tuesday, September 15th, 7pm at Lima Court House, 7321 East Main Street in Lima.
This slide-illustrated presentation will focus on our current archaeological understanding of the life and culture of the Seneca Iroquois who lived here in Lima during the early to mid-1600’s. What was life like for those who walked here before us some 400 years ago and how was traditional native life changing at that time?
