Sergeant Caitlin Toomey of the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office was presented with an award from Honeoye Falls Post 664 for Law Enforcement Nominee for the American Legion.
She has participated in many lifesaving instances while working for the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office. American Legion Post 664 nominated her from the local community. Her nomination went forward and she is also nominated for American Legion County and District awards. At the County American Legion Convention on June 7th, she will receive two more awards that she has won. She now goes on to a state nomination for Law Enforcement Officer of the Year.
