West Bloomfield Historical Society will offer a public program on “Hidden Treasures of West Bloomfield” on Tuesday, August 1st at 7 pm at the Society, 8966 Rt. 5 & 20 in West Bloomfield.
The slide show and narration were created more than 20 years ago by historian and author, the late Sandra Bortle Schlenker. To develop the program, Schlenker spent years conducting research, collecting oral recollections, and tramping through fields to locate hidden landmarks. The Society will present her original images and script, recently donated by her family. The program is open to all and accessible. For more information, visit wbhsny.org.
