The Wheatland Historical Association is happy to announce the Sage-Marlowe House in Scottsville will be open for visitors every Sunday from 2 – 4pm beginning July 10 through August 28. When was the last time you visited this quaint 1840’s home? A wonderful summer activity for history buffs, or those who just want to learn more about 19th century life in Scottsville. The home features displays and collections. Local history books will be available for purchase. Don’t forget to see what heirloom herbs and vegetables are growing out in the kitchen garden. Free and open to the public.
