The Wheatland Historical Association invites you to visit its 1840s historic home, the Sage-Marlowe House, on Sundays beginning on July 9th, and continuing each Sunday through August. Hours are 2pm to 4pm.

Each room of this quaint, little “working man’s” home is furnished as it would have been over 180 years ago. These open house Sundays will feature a different theme each week highlighting some facet of the history of the home, the town, activities of the families who resided there, or other topics of interest for every history buff. There is no fee to visit the house and Association officials hope you will plan to make it a part of your summer. Most often heard quote from visitors, “I’ve lived in Scottsville all my life and I’ve never been in the Sage-Marlowe House.” The Wheatland Historical Association would love to welcome you.
