Let’s talk books at the Greater Rochester Book People’s Party on September 23, 4 to 6 p.m., at Book Culture Pittsford.

The following panelists will start the conversation.

  • Judith Ellison Shenouda. Author, Editor, and Indie Publisher of books for living well and feeling good. Owner of Shenouda Associates Inc., a provider of Technical, Marketing, and Business Communications.
  • Chad Post. Publisher of Open Letter, the University of Rochester’s nonprofit, literary translation press.
  • Frances I. Tepper. Retired executive director of the Monroe County Fair and Recreation Association. Author of Fair Lady: Memoirs of a County Fair Manager.
  • Jim Byrne. Adult Services Librarian at the Pittsford Community Library. Jim oversees a portion of collection development, facilitates library events, manages the library’s social media, and is a co-host of Your Friendly Neighborhood Librarians, the library’s podcast.
  • Chris Doeblin. Owner of Book Culture in Pittsford and three locations in the NYC area.

Ask your questions related to authoring and publishing books, and getting them into the hands and hearts and minds of readers. Answer others’ questions, too. This party will be a sharing of information, experience, and expertise.

If you’re a published author, you are welcome to bring your books. Book Culture Pittsford will set up a display table, sell your books at the party, and split the proceeds. In advance of the party, send an email to chris@bookculture.com. Include your book titles, author name, ISBN, and publisher, and indicate this is for the September 23 Greater Rochester Book People’s Party.

Bring your family. Bring your friends. Join the conversation at Book Culture Pittsford on Friday, September 23, 4 – 6 p.m., a wonderful addition to the village scene for those who love books.
