As part of the event, the veterans were entered into a raffle for a handmade quilt, donated by Kim Roberts, Town Board Member-elect. The Town of Mendon hosted its 8th Annual Veterans Day luncheon on November 11, 2023. The event was held to honor the brave men and women who selflessly served our nation and brought together veterans, their families, and community members to express gratitude and celebrate the indomitable spirit of service. Attendees shared stories, listened to musical performances, and reflected on the significance of the day, creating an atmosphere filled with warmth and appreciation. The event served not only as a token of appreciation but also as a platform to build connections and foster a sense of unity within the community.
