Hollywood used to have no problem coming up with a cornucopia of bad guys. Sure, it went through spurts when one archetype or another would end up hogging all the screen time. It wasn’t until the Nazis, however, that there was one consistent non-genre-related antagonist the cinema barons could rely on. But with WWII now a distant memory and very few veterans of that war left, is there a new “go-to” bad guy?
