On Monday November 8th, Mendon Fire Department, Honeoye Falls Fire Department, Monroe County Sheriff’s Department and numerous other agencies were collectively recognized by Monroe County for their role and response to the tragic Army National Guard helicopter crash this past January. Representatives from all the agencies are in the photo above. Chief David Hood (photo below) accepted a plaque on behalf of HFFD.
