Friday, November 2nd from 7:00 – 9:00 PM, the Scottsville Fire Department is throwing its annual Turkey Party fundraiser. Proceeds from the event (held at the fire hall) will be used to assist with equipment purchases (i.e., the brush truck that the Department purchased and donated to the village a few years ago and new fitness equipment to help volunteers stay fit).
As a reminder, the Department is 100% volunteer-based, serving a mostly rural area inclusive of about 5,000 residents along with daily commuters, visitors, and employees of local businesses.
Come support the selfless men and women of the SFD at this fun and lively family-friendly event. There will be many turkeys and other prizes up for grabs as well as complimentary refreshments and beer for purchase.
