Sergeant Caitlin Toomey of the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, received the Outstanding Law Enforcement Award from American Legion District 7 in June.
Toomey, a graduate of HF-L, was nominated for the honor by Honeoye Falls Post 664 in May.
She has participated in many lifesaving instances while working for the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office. She now goes on to a state nomination for Law Enforcement Officer of the Year.
