Over 50 Honeoye Falls-Lima Manor School 4th and 5th graders will be performing Disney’s Jungle Book KIDS for the school’s annual winter production.
The show will be presented Wednesday, February 6 and Thursday, February 7 with show times both nights at 7 p.m. at the HF-L High School Auditorium, 83 East Street.
The high-energy, 30-minute musical, designed for elementary school-aged performers, is based on the classic Rudyard Kipling novel and the beloved 1967 Disney film.
The jungle is jumpin’ with jazz in this exciting adaptation of the classic Disney animated feature The Jungle Book. Join Mowgli, Baloo, King Louie, and the gang as they swing their way through madcap adventures and thwart the ferocious tiger, Shere Khan. Adapted especially for young performers, this musical includes favorite Disney songs including “The Bare Necessities” and “I Wan’na Be Like You.” With colorful characters and that toe-tapping jungle rhythm, The Jungle Book KIDS is sure to be a crowd-pleaser for all ages!
The show is an after-school activity that is sponsored by the HF-L Arts Enrichment Corporation. Additional financial support was provided by the HF-L Music Boosters. Manor School fourth and fifth graders present a musical each winter, giving students the opportunity to take on acting, singing, and dancing. Student volunteers from the Honeoye Falls Lima Middle School Drama Club provide support for stage crew, costumes, lighting, and sound.
Tickets are $5 each and are available at the door.
