HF-L Middle School Home and Careers teacher Terri Northrup heard about the need for cloth face masks and realized what a great way for her students to put their education into practice. After sending out an initial email request, a group of around 30 HF-L middle school students stepped up and began sewing. With donations from families, friends and MS staff, kits were assembled and placed outside the Middle School. Starting in the 3rd week of March, students have been coming to the school to grab kits and return completed masks. To date, over 200 masks have been sewn by HF-L Middle School students and distributed to the community. Submitted Photo.
