The Village of Honeoye Falls will be hosting an informational meeting and presentation on Tuesday evening, November 26, 2019 regarding Deer Management within municipalities. The meeting is slated to be held at the Village Hall (5 East Street, Honeoye Falls, NY 14472) beginning at 7:00 PM.
NYS DEC Wildlife Biologist, Susan Booth-Binczik will visit and provide information on white-tailed deer overabundance and the approaches that communities can take to address the deer-related problems they’re experiencing, as well as a recommended process for community deer management planning. Ideas and insight to Deer Management, damage caused by the White-Tail Deer and various ideas of how to manage these issues and detail on the process a community would follow should they decide to take action.
This meeting will be open to Village residents interested in hearing the presentation and learning more about the process. In order to help gauge the interest in attendance, the Village asks that those interested in attending call the Village Office at (585-624-1711) to indicate their interest or email the village at (Village@Villageofhoneoyefalls.org) .
