Lima Village Pharmacy recently received a new Med Return Drug Collection Unit due to the efforts of the Genesee Valley Health Partnership, CASA of Livingston County and Healthy Communities that Care Coalition.

This drop box is installed within the pharmacy and is available during pharmacy business hours of 9 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday-Friday and 9 a.m.-2 p.m. on Saturdays. The unit collects old and outdated prescription and over the counter medications (no medical sharps) and will be regularly emptied by the Livingston County Sheriff’s Department and transported for environmentally friendly disposal.
