It took a community to help the Manor School’s Make A Difference Committee raise money for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, a not-for-profit organization with the aim of raising funds to help find cures for children with cancer, back in February.

Manor School’s Make A Difference Committee initiated and put together a Manor School Student Faculty Basketball Game and Shave that supported JJ’s Angels on February 28. The game and shave raised $6,965.

“The committee put all this together,” said Nicole Winters, Manor School’s counselor for Grades 4 & 5 and the advisor for the Make A Difference Committee. “The webpage that we set up for the event is still active so people may make donations even now after the event. This was truly a community event with all of the donations and support that we received for it.”
