Recently, the Mendon Public Library dedicated a new green bench in the Children’s Area to honor the memory of Robert and Janice “Nanny” Greene.
The plaque honoring the Greene’s reads,
“To the world you might be one person, but to one person you might be the world”
In loving memory of Janice “Nanny” Greene & Robert Greene”
In addition, new computer tables near the entrance of the library were dedicated to honor the memory of Martha Kathleen “Kathy” Unruh Lenahan.
The plague honoring Kathy reads,
“In loving memory of Kathy Lenahan, a wonderful teacher, mother, and friend.”
The Friends of the Mendon Public Library are humbled by these memorials and thankful for the opportunity to honor such wonderful patrons.
