Robert Brown of Honeoye Falls placed first in the 10-13 age group at the 4th annual children’s photo contest organized by Life in the Finger Lakes magazine.
His photograph “Flying above the Finger Lakes” (above) depicts his interest in photography and travel and was taken from the airplane flight returning home from visiting relatives in Poland.
Bridgette Kiefer, also of Honeoye Falls, won second place in the 14-16 age group with her photograph “Canopy Tour at Bristol Mountain”.
Life in the Finger Lakes magazine “provides contests as an opportunity for people who are passionate about photography and the Finger Lakes to showcase their talents. They encourage all photographers, young and old, to keep pursuing their dream of capturing the perfect Finger Lakes photo.”
