The Town’s newly refurbished tennis courts on Semmel Road are now open for playing, according to the Town Board. After being completely refurbished and having new Har-Cor nets installed, we are anxiously awaiting warmer weather for tennis enthusiasts to get out and play.
In addition to serving the Town residents, the Town Board approved a resolution to allow HF-L Tennis Teams full use of the courts since the courts at the school are unusable because of construction at the high school.
A special thanks goes out to Mendon Town Highway Supervisor, Bud Smith and his dedicated, hard-working crew for their efforts to get the courts ready in a timely fashion.
