Our Inaugural Contest Focuses on Businesses within the HFL Community

Over the last several months we’ve been asking businesses to complete our business verification survey. We’ve now compiled a list of nearly one hundred local businesses within the HFL School District community. Beginning today, we’re giving you a chance to vote in our first ever Readers’ Choice Awards. These annual contests are quite popular among community newspapers and give businesses a chance to promote themselves and earn well-deserved recognition.
Multiple Categories for Multiple Businesses:
What’s your favorite business in the Hamlet of Mendon? In the Village of Honeoye Falls? In Lima? Here’s your chance to say, “thank you” to the businesses who mean the most to you. What’s your favorite restaurant? Your favorite professional service business? Your favorite retail business? Your favorite recreational and fitness location? These are among just a few of the dozen or so categories you can vote in.
How to Vote:

Deadline for Voting:
Voting ends January 31st, 2018 and the winners will be announced at the annual Honeoye Falls/Mendon Rotary Casino in February. In addition, profiles of the winning businesses (and perhaps even a few runner-ups) will be featured in the first annual HFL Community Yearbook, which will be mailed free to all addresses in the Mendon, Honeoye Falls, and Lima zip code zones.
