2016.03.17 front page 600x600The now famous “Lost Edition” of The Sentinel appears to be coming soon to a mailbox near you! Earlier this afternoon, Heidi Zornow of Lima posted the Mendon-Honeoye Falls-Lima Sentinel Facebook page that “FYI, my March 17 edition came in the mail today!” The paper was originally delivered to the main processing center of the Rochester Post Office on Jefferson Road early in the afternoon of March 16th by Sentinel owner Betsy Carosa. The bulk mailing unit in the Jefferson Road facility did their job and shipped the dozen sacks to the distribution center on Lyell Avenue later that evening. After that – poof! – every single copy of the March 17, 2016 issue vanished. We called the national post office and initiated a formal investigation into the event. They told us they’d have an answer within three business days. Well, three business days came and went and we had no answer.

The good news is that it looks like the real answer will appear soon in your mailbox, if it hasn’t already. Please post on our web-site page and let us know when you finally receive the “Lost Edition.”
