In honor of Veteran’s Day last month, Saint Paul of the Cross Church handed out a prayer card with a small soldier attached to remind everyone of the sacrifice veterans have made and continue to make for a grateful nation.
The message on them is very simple yet very moving. There are a number of veterans in the church who live in the communities of Honeoye Falls, Lima, Mendon and Rush. Some are veterans of World War II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War and the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
