The Honeoye Falls-Lima Annual Senior Citizens’ Luncheon and Matinee performance of this year’s high school musical will be held on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at 1 p.m.

The luncheon will be at the HF-L Middle School Cafeteria. The menu features fresh green salad w/dressing, Lasagna with meat sauce, Seasoned green beans, warm dinner rolls and butter, apple crisp with whipped cream, coffee, tea, milk, or water. The cost is $4.00.

Please RSVP By: Monday March 14, 2016 to Kathy Palmer at 624-7043.

The Luncheon will be directly followed by a matinee performance of the High School’s Musical, Mary Poppins, at the Middle School Auditorium.

“It is so cool playing the role,” said high school senior Manda Borden, who plays Mary Poppins. “I have always wanted to play such an iconic role such as this. It’s challenging as well because it is so associated with Julie Andrews’ portrayal in the movie. I am trying to put my own spin on it while also keeping the classic parts of the role.”

While the Broadway version of Mary Poppins retains many elements of the movie version, there are also differences as audiences will see. However, many of the tunes are the same such as Tuppence, Let’s Go Fly A Kite and Step In Time.
