The Honeoye Falls-Lima Manor School student vs. staff basketball game was another success in raising money for St. Baldrick’s Foundation
Manor’s Make-A-Difference committee puts the event together every year and the game on March 8 raised $6,772, said Manor School Principal Joelle Weaver. The event featured a basketball game between fifth-grade students and staff, which was won by the students 57-47. In addition, staff at Lupinetti’s volunteered their time to make the head shaving event possible.
St. Baldrick’s Foundation is the largest charity funder of childhood cancer research grants.
