Kris Knight is the featured artist at Mendon 64 through the month of January and into February.
Knight returned to New York State after residing in Northern California for 30 years. She enjoys capturing the Finger Lakes region with her beautiful HDR photography which will be on display at Mendon 64. An artist with works also on display at Artizanns in Naples and the Naples Public Library as well as the Mendon Public Library, her photography showcases what can be done with High Dynamic Range photography using her camera and multiple shots taken in varying exposures. She is grateful to have had her work in several coffee shops across these small towns.
“A while back, I took a photography class with Jim of Montanus Photography,” Knight said. “Right away, I saw improvements in my work. It’s been fun to get out, see the beauty that surrounds us in all seasons, and catch the colors.”
When she’s not out working on photography, Knight can be found at Sonnenberg Gardens where she works as the Events Manager and Marketing Director.
