Ska-Hase-Ga-O Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution will hold a Flag Retirement Ceremony and educational event on Sunday, June 14 (Flag Day) at the Avon American Legion Post, 5480 Avon-East Avon Road in Avon.
There will be a concession stand and a vendor and craft fair from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. The America 250 Flag Day celebration Flag retirement ceremony will be at 1 p.m. Come learn about the meanings of the Flag’s components, Flag etiquette and how to properly fold and retire the flag.
