Pittsford’s annual Candlelight Night event last Tuesday night (December 6), co-sponsored by the Pittsford Chamber of Commerce and the Town of Pittsford, featured food trucks from several area businesses which were set up on South Main Street, which was closed for the evening. Attendees could listen to live music, take horse-drawn wagon rides, visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus and watch the lighting of the village Christmas trees at Main and State Streets (the four corners of the village), at Schoen Place Gazebo and at Northfield Commons. People also stopped in at the many businesses in the downtown village center or along Schoen Place and Northfield Commons to check out their latest offerings.

In the photo to the left, Rudolph took time out from readying himself for the long journey on Christmas Eve with Santa to stop in the village of Pittsford at the annual Candlelight Night event last week. The Christmas tree at the four corners in the village of Pittsford was one of three trees lit at the Candlelight Night event in the photo to the right. Both photos by Donna MacKenzie
