The Honeoye Falls Fire Department is pleased to announce that the Village of Honeoye Falls has been awarded a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) – FEMA Assistance to Firefighters Grant. This federal grant of $152,285 will go towards the replacement of the fire department’s aging self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA), said HFFD Chief Dave Hood.

The department will be replacing equipment that is nearly 15 years old. New SCBA will include modern technology, advanced safety features, and be compliant with the most recent standards.
The Honeoye Falls Fire Department is grateful for the collaborative effort involved in obtaining this grant. Special thanks to Village Administrator Brian Anderson, Department Administrator Pete Henry, Mayor Rick Milne, the Village Board and Michael Pentozzi of Grantmasters Inc.
