Branch Manager Cybil Brock and Kim Ackerman of Honeoye Fall’s M&T Bank stopped by the Mendon Public Library recently to present a check to MPL Director, Laurie Gunther, and MPL Assistant Children’s Librarian, Kelly Paganelli, for the Summer Reading Program. The M&T Funding will support programming and incentives for the 2017 Summer Reading Program titled, “Build a Better World.”

As in years past, this year’s program will have special programming throughout the summer and reading incentives for children, teens, and adults. The Summer Reading Program will run from June 22 – August 17, 2017. Some of the programs include our opening celebration with Just Clowning Around, storytelling with Stories Galorious, Wildlife Defenders outreach, “Selecting Wine for Your Picnic,” and “Nutrition On a Daily Basis.”

“We are very excited to have a wide variety of programs scheduled this summer,” said MPL Director, Laurie Guenther. “M&T Bank’s support gives us the ability to plan and offer programs for everyone. We are very thankful to M&T for their ongoing support.”
