After a year’s absence due to COVID-19 shutting down schools last year, the annual Teddy Bear picnic made its return to Lima Primary School last Friday.

This year’s Teddy Bear Picnic was different than in years past as it was just students, teachers and staff and the students brought their own lunches instead of the usual hot dogs and other picnic fare being served. But, the stuffed animals were in abundance again and the weather was nice, allowing the kindergarten and first-grade students to be outside.

Among the favorite “stuffies” attending the picnic were a variety of bears in various sizes and colors, dogs, cats, monkeys, rabbits, and even a fox and a unicorn were seen being held by their young owners.
