There won’t be any reminiscing this year as the Lima High School Alumni Association has cancelled plans for the annual alumni reunion scheduled this year for July 11, 2020 at Lima Country Club.
The Alumni Association committee decided to cancel the annual banquet officially last week due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The committee will try again in 2021 with a date of July 10, said committee member Sharon Neenan.
In addition, the Honeoye Falls/Honeoye Falls-Lima Alumni Association has cancelled plans for its annual reunion, held annually in September, at Mendon Country Club. The reunion was to be held September 19, 2020 but due to numerous factors regarding COVID-19 and uncertainty about large gatherings, it was decided to cancel the reunion. The committee is thinking about trying again in 2021, but details as to when and where are yet to be determined.
