Rush residents, friends and family gathered to recognize and celebrate the addition of 14 Meadowood, in Rush, to the National Register of Historic Places. Susan Swanton, the current owner, is the granddaughter of the original owners. “Wrayholm” as the home was named by its first owners, Delos and Irene Warner Wray, sits atop a bluff overlooking the Genesee River. The home is a two-and-one-half story Dutch Colonial Revival style designed by architect Claude Bragdon and constructed in 1912.

The June 7th event included both interior and exterior guided tours along with a ceremony where Lee Hankins, Rush Town Supervisor; Susan Mee, Rush Town Historian; and Swanton provided remarks. Rush Historical Society volunteers assisted with tours and greeting guests.
